Product information
For those who also insist on Shoes in wet and windy weather, the Tejo model is just the ticket. Its extra-densely woven recycled cotton upper material, its integrated membrane and water flap (from size 23) keep our feet dry for the long-term.
Wooly warmth is guaranteed by the loden lining with virgin wool from our partner company, Nordwolle. The shoestring eyelets make tying the shoes especially easy, and the cotton tongue and heel come in a distinct eye-catching color.

Canvas (100% recycled cotton) – caramel
Membrane:
100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material
Lining / mid-sole:
Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool) [Nordwolle]
Edging:
Microfiber (100% polyamide) – caramel
Outsole:
outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – caramel

Care
Waterproofing before first-time wear
Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised. There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer).
Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.
Cleaning
The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.
For stubborn stains, we recommend gentle cleaning with our biodegradable cleaning solution "Drops".
Post-treatment
We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.
