Cosy, warm and pleasantly breathable
Kindur means ‘sheep’ in Icelandic – it's no coincidence that the shoe of the same name bears this name. That's because the high-cut shoe for the whole family is made with lots of wool from Nordwolle. This natural material makes Kindur cosy, warm and pleasantly breathable. Wool is used not only in the lining, but also in the upper material. Two different yarns made from undyed wool have been woven together to create an elegant herringbone pattern.

Nordwolf becomes Kindur
If you notice a certain similarity between the Kindur and the Nordwolf, you're absolutely right: Kindur is its successor. Its functionality has been optimised with the water-repellent Pure Sole (for adults and children). The toddler version of Kindur comes with the tried-and-tested Cub Sole. The children's and toddler's versions also feature bright little colour accents.

Upper:
Herringbone (100% virgin wool) – dark brown-light brown

Membrane:
100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

Lining / mid-sole:
Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool)

Edging:
Microfiber (100% polyamide) – brown

Outsole:
outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – petrol

Care

Waterproofing before first-time wear

Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised. There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer).

Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.

Cleaning

The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

For stubborn stains, we recommend gentle cleaning with our biodegradable cleaning solution "Drops".

Post-treatment

We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.
