Wool, wool, wool
Atento is a cosy companion for chilly days. Thanks to its wool upper, woven into a beautiful herringbone pattern, and its wool lining, it keeps our feet wonderfully warm. The shell sole provides protection from moisture. The wintery blackberry tone of the upper material combines perfectly with the midnight blue of the sole and laces.
Mindful cooperation
Atento means ‘mindful’ in Portuguese: this for adults and children is the result of a collaboration between and the organisation Rewilding Portugal, which is committed to preserving intact ecosystems and promoting coexistence between humans and animals. The wool used in the shoe comes from the Rewilding project and was woven by VirgoCoop.

Upper:
Herringbone (100% virgin wool) – bordeaux / navy
Membrane:
100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material
Lining / mid-sole:
Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool)
Outsole:
outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – midnight blue

Care
Waterproofing before first-time wear
There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box.
Cleaning
The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.
Post-treatment
We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.
Allow shoes to dry thoroughly after waterproofing. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.
